Submitting a Refund Request:
Refund requests must be submitted using the links posted on this page.
A full refund shall be given less the cost of any expenses that have been paid or incurred by VYSO. Expenses include, but are not limited to, the following: STYSA fees, uniform expenses, game/referee expenses, late fees, and administrative costs.
Recreational Program: Spring 2026 Season
Refund requests will be accepted during the on-time registration period and through the first three weeks after the on-time registration deadline. The dates and deadlines are posted on the VYSO website.
Full refunds are available through the on-time registration deadline, as posted on the VYSO website.
Partial Refunds: Starting with the first day of late registration, the league expense portion of the registration fee will be deducted from the refund. The registration fee, showing the membership expense portion and the league expense portion, is posted on the REC registration page of the VYSO website.
Late Fee: there will be a $25 late fee applied to all REC player registrations received within seven (7) days after the on-time registration deadline, as posted on the VYSO website. There will be a $50 late fee applied to all REC player registrations received starting eight (8) days after the on-time registration deadline. These late fees are non-refundable.
REFUND WHEN A TEAM IS CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF A VOLUNTEER COACH
When a team does not have a coach by the deadline posted on the VYSO website, the children on that team will not get to play and a partial refund will be given. The league expense portion of the registration fee will be deducted from the refund. The registration fee, showing the membership expense portion and the league expense portion, is posted on the REC registration page of the VYSO website.

Select Program: Fall Registrations
Refund requests will be accepted through July 31 of the applicable year. Deductions will be taken as expenses are incurred. A full refund is only available through June 15 of the applicable year.
Players that attended tryouts, or registered for the program, but were not chosen for a select team, will receive a full refund.
Late Fee: there will be a $25 late fee applied to all select player registrations received July 1 through the fall roster freeze date of the applicable year. This late fee is non-refundable.

Practice and Tournament Players
Refund requests will be accepted within three (3) days of receipt of the player’s registration for the program. Deductions will be taken as expenses are incurred.
No refund will be given if the player has already attended a practice, training session, tournament, or other event.

Sunday Soccer Clinics (and similar programs)
Refund requests will be accepted within three (3) days of receipt of the player’s registration for the program. Deductions will be taken as expenses are incurred.
No refund will be given for any portion of the registration fee if the player has already attended one of the sessions.
No refund will be given if the player does not attend the session(s) he/she was registered for.

Parent Jerseys and Other Items
REC Parent Jersey purchases are non-refundable after we have ordered the item from our supplier.
This applies to all items purchased through VYSO that are not part of the player’s uniform.
