Cancelling games in advance due to expected extreme heat

The Select Program Vice-President, or the Board of Directors, may choose to cancel games due to expected extreme heat no more than 24 hours, and no less than, 12 hours in advance of the game start time. The decision will be based on our official weather platform, Perry Weather.

If games are cancelled in advance, the Select Program Vice-President, or Board of Directors, will notify our team’s coach and manager. It will be the responsibility of the team’s coach and manager to notify the visiting team’s coach and/or manager. It will also be the responsibility of the team’s coach and manager to follow the reschedule process for the league they are playing in.
