What a great showing for Victoria last weekend! Every single team was in contention for the finals going into their last game on Sunday. We had 2 teams miss out on tie breakers, 3 teams make the final, and one team won the championship. No team finished with a losing record. Congrats to all of you!
Silver Bracket
-U17 Boys-
Played as a U19 team in the highest bracket for their age. Finished in 3rd place of their bracket with a undefeated final record of 2-0-1, scoring 9 goals while only conceding 3. They handed out shutouts in both of their victories.
-U16 Girls-
Played in the highest bracket for their age. Finished in 3rd place of their bracket with a record of 1-1-1. Their only loss was to a finalist and they scored 5 goals while allowing 6. (no photo provided)
-U13 Girls-
Played in the highest bracket for their age. Finished in 3rd place of their bracket only missing the finals on a tie breaker. They had a 2-1 record with their only loss to a finalist. They scored 10 goals and allowed 9.
Bronze Bracket
-U18 Girls-
Played as a U19 team in the first ever competition for this team. These ladies handed in a perfect 3-0 record in group play with 2 of those wins coming by shutout. They went to the finals and fell to a team who didn’t allow a single goal the entire tournament. They finished the tournament with 12 goals and only 4 allowed.
-U13 Boys-
The boys had an undefeated record of 1-0-2. They finished in 3rd place of their bracket, missing the finals by 1 point. Their victory was a 4-1 win over a team that took the eventual tournament champions to PKs in the final. They finished with 7 goals and allowed 4.
-U12 Boys-
CHAMPIONS. These boys had a perfect tournament record of 4-0 including the finals. They won the championship in a 7-1 rout of the only other undefeated team in their bracket. They ended the tournament with an astonishing 29 goals scored, and only allowed 5.
-U11 Boys-
It was the first tournament for this brand new team. They finished group play with a perfect 3-0 record, and a shutout earning a trip to the finals. They fell in the finals to the only other undefeated team in the bracket. They finished the tournament with 15 goals and allowed 8.
-U11 Girls-
This was the first tournament for this brand new team. They finished in 3rd place of their bracket with a 2-1 record, and 1 shutout. Their only loss was to the undefeated champions who didn’t allow a single goal from any other team in the tournament. These girls hung 3 on them. They finished play with 14 goals and allowed 10.
