Special Requests Allowed
The VYSO Board of Directors allows for certain requests to be submitted with regards to team placement of players. No guarantees are given that the requests will be accepted and/or honored.
There are rules and restrictions involved. If you submit a request form, it is assumed you have read and understand the information provided on the “More Info” buttons below.
All special requests will be reviewed after the on-time registration deadline of January 20, 2024.
There is a non-refundable $5.00 Special Request Fee.
Buddy Requests
A buddy request is where two players of similar age request to play on the same team. Both players must request each other.
Sibling Requests
A sibling request is where two players of similar age that are siblings or step-siblings request to play on the same team.
Not Have a Specific Coach
You can request that your child not be assigned to a team with a specific coach. You must give the coach’s name.
Play Up Requests
A play up request is where a player requests to play on an older team. The player cannot move up more than one age level.
Girl Play on a Boy’s Team
A girl can play on a boy’s team as long as she does not play up more than one age level.
Specific Practice Day Request
For U08 and younger players, you can request to have your child placed on a team that will hold practice on one (1) specific day.
