Registration Information
- For players born in 2004–2019
- Registration fee is $100. This includes the uniform and all season costs.
- The player will also need a soccer ball, shin guards, and soccer cleats.
- A non-refundable late fee of $25 will be added to all registrations received on or after August 21.
We will hold an in-person registration event on Saturday, August 20, 10:00 AM — 4:00 PM, at the Riverside Soccer Complex. The address is 1407 W. Red River St. in Victoria.

The VYSO Board of Directors has launched two new programs that can help with registration fees.
Bring a Friend Promotion
Players can receive $10 refunds for referring brand new players to play with VYSO in the Fall 2022 REC season. The brand new player can be any age or gender; he/she does not have to be in the same division as the referring player.
Banner Sponsor Program
Businesses and individuals have the opportunity to help support VYSO through sponsorship. With the new Banner Sponsor program, the business or individual purchasing the banner sponsorship can designate one player to receive a free REC registration.
Special Requests For Team Placement
The VYSO Board of Directors allows for certain requests to be submitted with regards to team placement of players. If you are interested in submitting a special request, you need to read the full information posted about special requests.
New Special Request: Specific Practice Day Request. This request is only acceptable from players that will be on a U08 or younger team. Read more using the link below.
Surrounding Town Teams
The VYSO Board of Directors will allow teams to be formed that will practice in Edna, Goliad, Port Lavaca, Refugio, or any other town. The games will be played in Victoria. If you would like your child to be placed on a team that practices somewhere other than Victoria, you MUST register your child AND fill out the Team from Surrounding Town request form.

Coaches
We always need coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers. There are some national requirements that all volunteers must complete before participating. If you would like to be a coach or manager, or if you are just thinking about it, please go ahead and register so that you can complete these requirements.
We are hosting a 7v7 Grassroots Coaching Course on Saturday, August 20. Even though this is a 7v7 course, you will be able to take what you learn and apply it to whatever age you will coach. This course is open to anyone, 16 years or older, that has an interest in coaching youth soccer.
Referees
Are you interested in becoming a certified referee? Now is your chance! We are hosting a certification course for first time referees.
We have access to a discounted rate for the certification course. The normal cost for the course is $75. With the discount program, the cost will only be $40!
REC Skills Training Sessions
Free skills training sessions to all U05 and older players that are registered for the VYSO Fall 2022 REC season.
These training sessions will be conducted by UHV players, at the Riverside Soccer Complex.
- Monday, August 29, 6:00 PM — 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, August 31, 6:00 PM — 7:00 PM
Sunday Soccer Clinics
VYSO is offering this program as an opportunity for players to receive quality training from instructors that can teach and demonstrate important soccer skills. The training will focus on individual skills, not team skills or training. The sessions will be offered each Sunday afternoon starting on September 18.
$10 per session, or $60 for all seven sessions
VYSO Epic Soccer Day
The Victoria Youth Soccer Organization would like to welcome the community to the VYSO Epic Soccer Day!
Whether you are already a huge soccer fan, or just curious about soccer and want to give it a try, you will have fun at this event!
