Interested in Becoming a Referee?
Are you interested in becoming a certified referee? Now is your chance! We are hosting a certification course for first time referees. If you have been a certified referee before, but it has been a few years, you can also take this course to become certified again.
Referee Certification Course Information
The in-person field session will be held on August 20. There will be some online coursework and requirements that each referee will also need to complete. It is recommended that these online steps be finished prior to attending the Field Session.

Discounted Referee Certification Course
We have access to a discounted rate for the certification course. The normal cost for the course is $75. With the discount program, the cost will only be $40!
- Click here to take advantage of the $40 discounted rate. You will pay the $40 discounted course fee to VYSO. You will receive a code, by email, to enter when you register for the certification course.
- Please note there is a $30 background check fee for all referees 18 and older. This $30 fee is in addition to the normal cost for the referee course. The discounted course fee of $40 does not cover the background check fee.
